Special K 2

This is my second shot at this so i'll give a full description this time. the photo of the woman was found on google, the K was taken from the kellogs "Special K" logo which i redrew in flash mx. the background is a standard lightning effect with a lens flare, then the photo of the woman and the text stevie are combined in one laye and set to overlay. the K is a chrome effect using eye candy in photoshop 6. i then selected the center area and with a copy of the womans face took an inverse cut. then that layer was treated to a gausian blur (3, then 2, then 1) and turned the opacity down a smidge to give a glassy effect. finaly a touch with the airbrush for the highlight and there you go. hope you don't mind me posting this twice, but i think the second effect is much better than the first! ;O). a friend has asked me to use this effect as a logo for his band called Seven Skies, with a picture of his face in the reflection so i'm looking forward to giving that a try. please feel free with you comments and suggestions.
